SME Conference 2018 – Quality assurance in product design: Preventive QA
The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is organising the 6th symposium on the funding priority "KMU-innovativ" on 19 and 20 November 2018 as a SME conference. The Ministry is also inviting representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from other BMBF funding measures in the ICT sector to discuss and network.
Participants are project participants of the funding measure "KMU-innovativ" with the
- Data Science, Information Technologies, Industry 4.0
- Electronics and autonomous driving
- Communication Systems; IT Security
- Human-Technology Interaction; Demographic Change
- Production research and services research
as well as from projects within the framework of the German-Czech Cooperation and within the framework of the support measures Software Sprint and Industry 4.0 Test Environments.
The SME conference enables SME representatives to exchange technical information and to identify synergies across projects.
The INTEX + AWS Institute team takes the opportunity to network with each other and with research partners. In a poster and demonstrator exhibition, participants can present their research projects and project results and engage in discussions with other interested participants. (see here the INTEX + AWS poster)
Another focus of the conference is to support SMEs in concretizing new research ideas. Advice on scientific expertise and potential research partners will be provided in the form of "science dating" in the technology area of "data science, information technologies, industry 4.0". Interested SME representatives who would like to present a current project idea will have access to various experts from university and non-university research for one-on-one discussions.
